Your 2020 Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Shop Local

Mother’s Day is coming up fast and with our local economy still semi shut down, it’s a great time to look for a local business that you can support when you shop for a gift for Mom.

I reached out to our South Puget Sound communities in search of local businesses offering great Mom’s Day gifts, here is what I came up with.

Salon & Spa Giftcards

It won’t be too much longer, I hope, until we can visit our local salon for a haircut, facial, manicure, or massage!

University Place Massage has gift certificates available for Mother’s Day, or any day for that matter. And if you’re a new client, they offer $10 off your first massage, and rewards you for referring your friends.

Do At Home Facial Boxes

Glow Boxes- by DD Maguire, Cosmetologist and master esthetician. Go to her Facebook page to see some of the great products and place your order.

Sugar + Skin Co. has a huge list of Mother’s Day Gift Box options posted on their Instagram channel. And if you spend more than $50 you’ll receive 2 vouchers for 15% off a future service.

Handmade Jewelry

Check out Trisha’s Unique & Sports Handmade Jewelry on Facebook where you can find pictures of her latest work. Free shipping on orders over $20 for Mother’s Day.

Give The Gift Of Local Honey

Honey’s Health Hive has Fresh Local Honey, Elderberry Syrup, and Aronia Berry Syrup. Their hives are 100% pesticide free. They offer no contact pick-up and no-contact pay options but will also accept cash if that is your preference. You can shop on their website, order from their Facebook Page.

Local Boutique Gifts

Scentsy has a ton of great gift ideas on their website. Choose from luxurious bath items, super cute warmers, scented oils and diffusers and so much more. We have our very own resident Scentsy Star Director who can help you.

At Paper Luxe you can order online. They will prep your order and let you know when it’s ready for curbside pick up. They’ve curated a list of Mother’s Day Gift Bundles on their website.

Mother’s Day Dinner From A Local Restaurant

A number of restaurants have Mother’s Day Specials running. Here’s a few to check out

Crudo & Cotto– Italian restaurant in Tacoma.
Dinner for two comes with antipasti, entree and dessert. $76.00
Click on their name above to see their Facebook posts which includes the menu options. You pick up at their location on Proctor St.

Living Flowers Or Plants

Lakewood Hardware is a family owned hardware store with a great selection of flowers and garden plants. Right now they have tons of organic locally sourced tomato starts you could pot up for her patio, or pick out one or two of their big beautiful hanging baskets.
